Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Grab a pencil and ruler, and draw a square in the center of your page.
2.

Add a shorter rectangle above this, and connect the two shapes with two short, vertical lines.
3.

Add another, smaller rectangle inside the top one…
4.

And then add two long rectangles to the bottom of the bottom square.
5.

Add angled lines to the bottom of each rectangle, and then join these at the bottom. Add another line below this.
6.

Add two horizontal lines to each of the legs…
7.

And then a long, thin rectangle just below the top of the body.
8.

Add two sets of vertical lines to the sides of the body, emerging from the bottom, and then angling these to the sides. Add a small circle inside each of these.
9.

Draw a small circle to the sides of the top of the main body…
10.

And then bring two curved lines down from the right side. Close the lines with a loop, and add a crescent moon-shaped hand to the end.
11.

Add another arm to the left, this time pointing upwards.
12.

Add two rectangles to the sides of the head, and another angled shape to the top.
13.

Draw two rings to the center of this shape…
14.

And then add smaller circles inside these rings, with another small curved line inside each.
15.

Next, add angled brows to the top of the eyes, and a curved smile to the bottom.
16.

Use a black pen to go over the outlines of the robot…
17.

And use an eraser to remove any remaining pencil marks.
18.

Now, use a brown pen to shade the feet, the hands, and the rectangle on the chest.
19.

Add color to the center of the face with a blue pen…
20.

Now, shade the inside of the eyes, the body, and the arms with a dark blue pen.
21.

Use a navy blue pen to shade the smaller sections that join the larger sections, and for the stripes on the legs.
22.

Now, add a spot of black to the inside of the eyes, and the remainder of the legs, as well as the circles on the bottom of the body.
And there you have it – a super friendly robot just waiting to hang out. All that he needs now is a cool name!
