Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Grab your black pen, and draw a “balloon” shape at the bottom of your page, creating a right-angled shape emerging from the left of your “balloon”.
Continue the line across and up, and then add another shape – these will be the leaves of your plant.
Bring two lines up through the center for a stem, and then add another leaf to the right.
Draw a circular shape behind this, and just behind the stem…
And then add another large leaf to the top.
Continue to add leaves moving up, and then place one at the very top.
Add a second just behind this…
And then add an oval shape to the bottom of your plant, with a bumpy line just inside this.
Bring a curved line down on either side, and connect them at the bottom with a horizontal line for your pot…
And then use a brown pen for your central line.
Now, grab a green pen, and use this to add color to the top of the stem and the surrounding branches…
Before using a yellow pen to add a single stripe to the leaf at the top.
Return to the green pen, and add color to the top leaves, leaving a white stripe in the center.
Grab an olive pen, and shade the top leaf and one to the left…
And add green to the leaf behind the top ones on the right.
Now, use a gray pen to add color to the top leaf on the right, once again leaving a gap.
Add some shading to the leaf in the center at the back with a green pen…
And then use a lighter green pen for the bottom two leaves.
Use the gray pen to add shading to the outside of the pot.
Now, use a black pen for the soil to complete your plant.
And there we have it – a super cute plant, just waiting to make itself at home in the perfect spot!
