Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin with a black pen, and draw a small triangle, tip pointing down, in the left half of your page. Add a curved line to the top of this. This will be the nose!
2.

Bring a curved line up and across to the right, and then take this down towards the bottom of the page.
3.

Next, bring a wavy line down from the bottom side of the triangle, and draw a “backward S” shape.
4.

Add a curve just below the nose for a smile…
5.

And then add two curved lines to the end of the line on the left, and add two “bumps” to the bottom of this for flippers.
6.

On the right of this, continue the line across to the right…
7.

And then add another two lines, with three “bumps” at the end, for a back flipper.
8.

Repeat this to the right to close the outline…
9.

And then add two long, curved marks inside each shape.
10.

Now, add a curved line just above the belly, skipping the front flipper, and carrying on up to the bottom of the neck.
11.

Add another “backward L” shaped flipper to the left of the body.
12.

Now, add a small circle to the face, and add a wavy line inside this.
13.

Draw another small circle below this, and then add a crescent moon shape to the right.
14.

Next, add a series of small circles all down the back of the body…
15.

And then add curved whiskers to the front of the face.
16.

Use the black pen to shade the right section of the eye, and the crescent moon shape.
17.

Fill in the spot on the cheek with a pink pen…
18.

And then use a purple pen to shade the rest of the body.
19.

Finally, use a purple pencil to add color to the belly and chest of your sea lion.
And there we have it – your very own super cute sea lion, ready for whatever adventure you have to throw at him!
