1.

Grab a blue pencil, and add a curved crescent moon shape to the center of your page. Add two half circles to the top of this.
2.

Shade the space around these, adding more half-circle shapes as you go.
3.

Add two wings to the body – one stretching up, and the other stretching down.
4.

Add color to these with a blue pencil.
5.

Use a yellow pen to add a sharp beak to the top of the face…
6.

Use a blue pen to add curved lines to the wings.
7.

Then, use the same pen to add feet to the bottom of the body…
8.

And add a curved tail, complete with three bumps for feathers, to the right.
9.

Fill this shape in with the dark blue pen.
10.

Now, add a wavy line to the beak, and add small shapes to either side of this for the plant that the dove is holding in her mouth.
11.

Add a small black dot for the eye.
And there we have it – a beautiful dove, ready to take wing; all that remains is to name her!
