1.
Use a thin black pen to draw a small “avocado” shape in the center of your page.
2.
Add two sets of curved lines to the top of the head, and then add small circles to the top of each.

Add two curved, pointed ears to the sides of the head, and add a curved line to the top of each of these.

Add a curved line across the bottom of the face…
5.
And then add two sets of curved lines to the sides.
6.
Add two curves to the center of the face for eyes…
7.
And then two black dots with a curved line beneath in the bottom section.

Bring two lines down from the bottom of the face, and curve these across to the left at the bottom. Take the end of the left line down towards the bottom of the page.

Add a long, thin “loop” to the bottom of the right line for a leg, and add a curved line to the front of this.

Add another leg to the bottom of the chest…

And then another leg to the back, connecting this to the legs in front with a curved line.
12.
Add another line just below this, and then add another leg below this.
13.
Add short lines to the bottom of each leg to create hooves.
14.
Now, add a long, thin shape to the back of the giraffe, and then a curved shape for the tail at the back.

Now, add a series of shapes all across the body for patterns…

And shade these with a brown pen. Use the same shade for the hooves, the tail, the horns, and the bottom of the face.

Now, use an orange pencil for the rest of the body…
18.
And use a yellow pen for the tummy and chest.
And just like that, you have your very own adorable giraffe – all that he needs is a name!
