2.

Bring two curved lines down on the sides, and then join these at the bottom with a curved line for the outline of the face.
3.

Leave a gap to the right of the face, and then add a line heading to the right, before taking it down to a “U” shape, and then add a “flick” to the end.
4.

Use a brown pen to add a “teardrop” shape around the face, connecting this to the side of the orange line.
5.

Shade the space around the face with the brown pen to create a lion mane.
6.

Use the orange pen to bring two vertical lines down from the bottom of the mane, and add a “bump” at the bottom for a leg.
7.

From the top right, take a curved line across to the right…
8.

And add another leg to the back.
9.

Now, add another curved line below the existing one, and join these at the end for the tail.

And use a dark brown pen for the outline of the face and the mane.

15.

And use the same shade to add toes to the bottom of your lion.
16.

Grab a light brown pen, and add a leg to the side of the ones you already have.
17.

Grab a pink pen, and use this to add spots of color to the ears.
18.

19.

Add a triangle-shaped nose below this, and add a short line to the bottom.
20.

Use the orange pen to create a “loop” on either side of the nose.
21.

Use a light brown pen to add a small rectangle to the top of the nose…
22.

And then shade the rest of the face with the orange pen.
