Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Begin your drawing with a brown pen, and add a jagged line in the center of your page, with two large triangles connected by a smaller car.

Add two curved triangles to the sides…

And then another set of curved triangles to the bottom of this.
4.
Next, add another curved triangle below this, heading towards the bottom of the page…
5.
And follow this with another curved line below, with a “flick” at the bottom.
6.
Join these with a triangle shape at the bottom.

Use a dark brown pen to add a wide, curved “m” shape to the top of the shape…

And then bring jagged lines down at the sides.
9.
Add curved lines to the bottom of these.

Now, add a large, curved shape in the center of these curved lines, and fill this in with the brown pen.

Use a yellow or gold pen to add a rectangle to the bottom of the nose.
12.
Then use a black pen to add a line from the bottom of the nose, and divide this into two at the bottom.
13.
Use a black fineliner pen to add two wide, slight “arrow” shapes to the top of the face.
14.
Add a curved line to the bottom of each of these for the outline of the eyes.
15.
Add small dots inside the eyes.
16.
Make the eyes thicker with your black fineliner pen.

Add two horseshoe shapes to the top of the head for ears. Fill in the rest of the mane with the brown pen.

Grab a light brown pen, and add a pointed, curved shape to the top of the nose…
19.
And then use a lighter brown pen to shade the area around this.
20.
Grab a lighter shade of brown pen, and add color to the center of the nose.
21.
Use the same shade to add color to the ears to complete your lion.
