Swans are one of the most elegant birds that you can enjoy spotting on a calm lake or river and deserve their very own place in your drawing portfolio. Ready to create your own stunning swan? Then let’s get started!
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Take a black pen, and draw a curved line, like the two of a “2”, in the left of your page.
Add another line to the left of it, and connect the two at the top with a short, straight line.
Continue the left line down a little further, and then bring it across to the right in a horizontal line.
Next, add a wavy wing to the right of the second line, with a curved top and bottom, and three “spikes” at the end for feathers.
Return to the line at the very bottom, and then take the line up at an angle, add a “point”, and then add a second point to the left, connecting it to the wing.
Add a pointed triangle shape to the face, and add another, black triangle shape behind this, with a dot at the end.
Use the brown pen for the wing…
And an orange pen for the beak.
Next, use a thick blue pen to add a series of straight, horizontal lines below the bottom of the swan.
Curve the ends of these lines, and then connect them together using the blue pen, to draw waves.
And voila – your very own super cute swan, ready for an adventure – all he needs is a name!
