Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Grab a black pen, and add two half-circle shapes to the left side of your page, with the straight sides of these facing one another.
Connect these two shapes with a curved shape at the top.
Bring two curved, jagged shapes down from the sides of each half-circle shape.
Now, add a large, curved “m” shape just below the curved line at the top.
Connect the bottom right of this to the line beside it with a jagged line…
And then bring a curved line down from the left jagged line, curving this across to the right.
Take this to a point, and then add another curved line above it, connecting this to the jagged line on the right.
Add two small circles below the top of the “m” shape for the eyes…
And then add two smaller circles inside each of these.
Next, draw a large “teardrop” shape below the eyes.
Add two small oval shapes inside this, and then a curved shape below this.
Next, add a curved line to the right of the head, curving this across to the right and towards the bottom of the page.
Add a curved line to the bottom line on the left, take this down, across towards the bottom left-hand corner, and then add a curved line heading towards the left.
Add another curved line just below this…
And then use a horizontal line below this, before taking this up towards the top right-hand corner of the page to form the front legs.
Add a bumpy line to the top of the legs…
And then add a square “J” shape just behind this.
Bring the bottom horizontal line across a little further, and then add another curved section to the top of this for the other legs and feet.
Return to the curved line at the top, and bring this down and across to the left.
Connect this to the top of the leg beside this with a wavy line.
Now, continue the line up, across, and down…
And then bring a long, curved line across from the back, taking this to the right, up to the left, and then up towards the top of the page.
Add another line to the right of this, and join these with a point at the top to create a tail.
Add a “V” shape close to the top of the tail…
And then shade the details of the nose with a black pen.
Grab a dark gray pen, and shade the top of the tail, the rings of the eyes, and the nose area.
Use a pink pen for the ears…
And then use a rich brown pen to add color to the tail, the head, and the top of the back.
Now, use an orange pen for the legs and the bottom of the body to complete your drawing.
And voila – an adorable squirrel monkey, just waiting for you. Why not spend a little time learning more about these wonderful creatures – there is plenty to learn!
