A stack of paper could have many purposes – a script waiting to be enjoyed, a book waiting to be read, or a note to be delivered. No matter what secrets the paper may keep, we have all you need to know to draw it!

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions

Start with a pencil, and add a slightly wavy, angled rectangle to the center of your page.

Add two wavy lines running vertically across this, and then two more running horizontally, leaving the central square where these two meet white.

Bring lines down from the corners, and join these to create a “box” shape.

Continue the lines vertically down these sides…

And then add a bow to the top in the center.

Add points to the sides at each corner.

Now, use a black fineliner to go over all the outlines…

And an eraser to remove the pencil marks.
9.
Grab a gray pen, and shade the top and front, leaving the spikes and ribbon white.
10.
Shade the left side with a darker gray pen…

And then go over the spikes with a black pen.
12.
Finally, use a brown pen for the ribbon.
And there we have it – a mysterious stack of paper, waiting to be uncovered; but what secrets are to be revealed?
