Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Use a black pen to add a small circle to the right of your page. Add a “bump” above this, and then bring the line down towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
2.

Add a curved line to the bottom of the circle, connecting this to the line on the right.
3.

Now, add a small “arrow” shape to the right of this, below the straight line…
4.

And add a small point to the right of the top line.
5.

Now, add a line across the top of this, taking this up to a point above the bump.
6.

Bring a line across underneath, adding a point to the end…
7.

And then take the line down, across in a “point”, and across to the right. At the end, take the line down and back across and up to the left, forming a jaw of your T-rex.
8.

Add a curved, pointed shape to the top of the jaw, and then connect this to be bottom of the top jaw.
9.

Add a row of razor-sharp teeth to the top and bottom jaws…
10.

And then bring a line down from the bottom towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
11.

Now, add the front arm and claw with a curved line heading into a fork, and the bottom line coming across and up.
12.

Add another arm and claw just above this…
13.

And then continue the line down slightly, adding a large “arrow” shape to the end.
14.

Add another “arrow” shape behind the first, and then add another line to the bottom of this.
15.

Add a large back claw to the bottom of this leg…
16.

And then bring a line across to the left.
17.

Bring a line down from the back leg, taking this towards the bottom of the page and ending in a “point”.
18.

Bring a line up, and across to meet the line above.
19.

Now, add three toes to the bottom of this for more claws.
20.

Add “arrow” shapes to the legs…
21.

Now, add curved, pointed claws to the bottom of the feet.
22.

Bring a line down from the back of the head, and take this down to the bottom left-hand corner, and then flick it upwards.
23.

Take this to a point, and bring the line back down to form the tail.
24.

Now, add a line down the center of the tail, and just above the bottom line of the T-rex.
25.

Add pointed triangles all across the back…
26.

Now, use a yellow pen to shade the underbelly of the T-Rex…
27.

And use a bright green pen for the top section.
28.

Grab an orange pen for the eye, and the inside of the mouth…
29.

And use a dark brown pen for the pattern on the back.
And voila – your very own T-Rex! Drawing these amazing creatures is just the first step though – why not do a little more research to learn more about these incredible creatures that once roamed the Earth – there is plenty to learn!
