Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin your drawing by using a black pen to draw a short, curved line just to the right of the center. Add a few marks to the bottom of this for lashes, and then a short mark above this.
2.

Bring a vertical line down to the right of the top mark, and take this to a “bump”, with the bottom heading left. Add a dot inside the bump, and a curved line behind this – this is the face of your unicorn.
3.

Add a square, angled “n” shape to the top left of this, with a short mark just inside this for an ear.
4.

From the right of this, bring across two wavy lines, and join them with a point at the end.
5.

Next, add a horn to the top of the head, pointing up towards the top right corner of the page. Add a series of diagonal lines all down the length of this for stripes.
6.

Add a bump behind the horn for more of the mane, and then bring a strand down the back of the face, ending with a point at the bottom.
7.

Add another two strands, each moving down the page, behind this.
8.

Next, add a curved line to the bottom of the jaw, and place a small dot inside the top.
9.

Add a curved line to the right of this, and then add two curved marks – this will be the face of your second unicorn.
10.

Add three short, curved, horizontal marks to the right of this, heading down the page, and then a short curved line below this.
11.

Add an arrow shape below this, with a small mark inside for an ear.
12.

Bring a wavy line down towards the bottom of your page…
13.

And then bring across two parallel, diagonal lines heading up towards the top left-hand corner of the page. Join them at the end for a leg, and then add a line for the hoof.
14.

Bring another leg and hoof down below this, pointing towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page…
15.

And then bring a wavy line down below this for the tummy.
16.

Add a pointed leg to the end…
17.

And then add a slightly angled leg to the right. Add hooves to both of these.
18.

Next, add three wavy lines to the right for the tail of the second unicorn.
19.

Now, bring a curved line across from the tummy of the baby unicorn, heading towards the left. At the end, add a leg for the larger unicorn, pointing towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
20.

Add a hoof to the end of this, and then another leg to the right.
21.

Add a curved line to the back to complete the body…
22.

And add another section to the bottom of the mane.
23.

Now, bring two curved lines down from the back for the tail, joining these at the top with a point. This will be the tail.
24.

Now, add a series of small stars all around both unicorns.
25.

Use a black pen to shade the hooves of both unicorns…
26.

And then use a yellow pen for two of the stripes on the horn.
27.

Shade the rest of the horn with an orange pen…
28.

And then use a pink pen for a circle beneath the animals and the mane and tail of the smaller unicorn. Use the same color for the noses and spots on the cheeks.
29.

Use a darker pink pen for the tail and mane of the larger unicorn…
30.

And use this for a few of the stars. Finally, use a blue pen for the remaining stars.
And just like that, you have your very own mother-daughter duo – perfect for spoiling someone special!
