Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by using a thin black pen to draw a small horn shape in the right of your page, pointing towards the top right-hand corner of the page.
2.

Bring a line across to the left, and wave this towards the bottom of the page.
3.

Now, add two “horseshoe” shapes behind the horn for the ear…
4.

And bring a line down from the bottom right of the horn. Add a “flick”, and then take the line across and up for the nose.
5.

Add another pointed ear to the right of the horn…
6.

And then add two sets of short parallel lines, topped with circles for the horns.
7.

Draw a series of diagonal marks up the length of the horn…
8.

And then bring the line of the bottom of the nose down towards the bottom of the page, curving to the left as you go.
9.

Return to the line on the left, and take this across, and then down…
10.

And then add two long, thin lines to the front of the line on the right, connecting these at the bottom for the front leg.
11.

Add another leg just behind…
12.

Now, add lines to the back section to create a third leg…
13.

And follow this with another leg just in front. Connect the bottom of the body together with a slightly curved line.
14.

Now, add two curved lines to the back, and end these in a flame-shaped tail…
15.

And then bring a curved line up the back of the neck.
16.

Add short, horizontal lines all up the length of this…
17.

And then add a curved line to the bottom of the nose.
18.

Inside this section, add a curved line, with a small dot above.
19.

Add a thicker wavy line to the center of the face…
20.

And then lines at the bottom of the legs for hooves.
21.

Add a curved shape below the wavy line on the face.
22.

Now, add small shapes all across the body for the patterns of the giraffe.
23.

Use a brown pen to shade the hooves, the mane, the tail, and the tips of the horns…
24.

And then use a pink pen for the inside of the ears and the bottom of the nose.
25.

Use a brown pencil for the patterns on the coat, the detail of the eye, and alternate stripes of the horn.
26.

Grab an orange pen, and use this to shade the main body of your giraffe…
27.

And then use a yellow pen to finish off the horn.
And voila – an amazing unicorn giraffe; all that she needs is to be named, and who knows where her adventures may take her?
