Unicorns are incredible, mysterious creatures, and they deserve to have their beauty immortalized forever through the power of art. Ready to create some magic? Let’s get started!
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start by using a black pen to draw a small triangle, angled at around 45 degrees, at the top of your page.
Draw a series of curved lines across this – this will be your unicorn horn.
Use the black pen to add a large, pointed “n” shape to the left of the horn, forming an ear.
Connect the ear to the horn with a curved line, and then carry this on to the left of the horn, angling down towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page, and flicking in at the bottom.
Add another, parallel set of lines beneath these…
And then join the ends with a curve to form the top of the mane of your unicorn.
Add another curved section below the two you have drawn…
And then add a curved shape inside the ear.
Now, draw an “n” shape around an inch below the ear.
Join the sides together at the bottom with a bumpy line. This will later be your sleeve.
Join the top of this to the bottom of the ear with a curved line.
Now, bring a line from the left side to the bottom of the mane, creating the outline of the face.
Add a wavy line just above the bottom of the face…
And then two curved lines above this for eyes.
Add two dots beneath the wavy line for a nose, and a small curve beneath this for a mouth.
Now, bring a line down from the bottom of the “n”, and another from the bottom of the face.
Add a small, curved semicircle shape below the face…
And join the bottom lines together with a straight, horizontal line. This will form the top that your unicorn is wearing.
Add another curved shape below the bottom of the top…
And then bring down two diagonal lines from the corners.
Connect these at the bottom with a wavy line.
Now, draw a triangle shape to the left of the body, and add a wavy line to the left of this.
Add another wavy line just below the first…
And then draw a curved “heart” shape at the end, creating a hand for your creature.
Add a curved “m” shape to the top of this for fingers…
And then bring a line down from the right of the sleeve, and connect it to the body with a short vertical line. Add another curved line connecting this to the skirt for the other hand.
Now, bring a curved line down from the bottom of the ear to the top of the skirt.
Add another one to the right of this…
And a third to create a flowing mane. Join these at the bottom with curved lines.
Bring another curved line across from the bottom of this, creating a point to the right, and then curving back across to the left. This will be the tail of your creature.
Now, add two sets of curved parallel lines to the bottom of the skirt for the legs, connecting these to the tail…
And end these with a curved shoe at the bottom of each.
Now, add curved lines just above the shoe for ankle socks.
Add a series of curves inside the tail.
Now, take a yellow pen, and use this to fill in the horn.
Use a bright blue pen to add color to alternate strands of the mane and tail…
And fill in the central strand with a pink pen. Use this same shade for the shoes, the belt, the hand and the bottom of the face.
Now, use a yellow pen to bring color to the socks and dress of your unicorn.
And voila – a cute, colorful unicorn girl, just waiting for any adventures that you have waiting for her – the only limit here is your imagination, so get creative!
