1.

Start with a thin black pen, and draw five small circles, heading up in an arrow towards the top of the page.
2.

Bring an angled line down from each of the bottom circles, and connect these at the bottom with a curved line.
3.

Now, join the circles at the top with curved lines to create a crown.
4.

Add a star shape to the center of the crown…
5.

And then add a pointed shape to the top.
6.

Add angled lines down the length of this point, creating a unicorn horn…
7.

And then bring a curved line down from either side of the crown. Take the left line across to meet the right, ending in a point at the bottom.
8.

Add curved lines down the length of this shape…
9.

And then add a large, curved shape to the bottom.
10.

Add a small circle to the bottom of this, and add a small “teardrop” shape to the right of this.
11.

Now, bring a curved line out on either side of this, and connect it to the line at the bottom with curved lines.
12.

Add a curve below the shape, and add marks to either end for a smile…
13.

And then add a small circle on either side of this.
14.

Now, add two curves to the top of the face…
15.

And add lines below this for lashes. Then, add curved brows to the top.
16.

Draw a smattering of dots between the eyes, above the nose…
17.

And then add small stars to the top left corner.
18.

Now, bring two curved lines down at the sides, and join these with a curve at the bottom for the body.
19.

Add another shape inside this larger one…
20.

And then add two curved arms to the sides.
21.

Now, add small marks to the bottom of each paw for claws…
22.

And then add two large, curved ears to the top of the head.
23.

Next, add a shape around the outside of the ears, adding small tufts of fur as you go.
24.

Bring two curved lines down from the bottom of the body, and take these across to the sides, down and back in, and up for the feet.
25.

Add thicker marks to the ends for claws…
26.

And then use a pink pen to shade the crown, the tip of the horn, and the spots of color on the cheeks, as well as the end of the forelock.
27.

Use a red pen for the next section of the horn and forelock…
28.

And then follow this with an orange pen for the next section.
29.

Use a yellow pen for the section beside this…
30.

And follow this with a green pen for the next section.
31.

Now, use a bright blue pen for the next section of each.
32.

Finish the horn and forelock with a purple pen.
33.

Grab a light pink pen, and shade the inside of the ears.
34.

Now, use a black pen for the outside of the body and the ears…
35.

And use a black pencil to shade the rest of the body.
36.

Finally, use a thicker black pen to go over the eyes and brows on the face.
And there we have it – an adorable unicorn koala brought to life before your eyes. All he needs now is a name!
