Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Use a black pen to add a tall, thin “horn” shape in the center of your page.
2.

Add a series of lines down the length of this.
3.

Bring a curved line across on the left, and take this downwards at the end. Then bring a line across on the right, and curve this down, in, and back out towards the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
4.

Bring this line across and then curve it back up to create a wing, and repeat this with another wing on the left.
5.

Bring a line down below each wing, and join the two sides with a curved line.
6.

Add curved lines just inside the bottom of the body…
7.

And then two pointed feet to the bottom of the body.
8.

Now, add an angled “C” shape to the center of the face,
9.

Bring the end of the “C” up and loop it in to meet a triangle in the center of the face for the beak…
10.

And then add a small circle inside each “loop” for the eyes.
11.

Add a dot inside each eye…
12.

And then use a gray pen for the outside of the body and the face.
13.

Grab a lighter gray pencil, and add color to the bottom of the body…
14.

And then use an orange pen for the feet and beak.
15.

Now, use a pink pen for the bottom stripe of the horn, and spots of color on the cheeks.
16.

Grab an orange pen, a yellow pen, a green pen, a blue pen, and a red pen, and shade the remainder of the unicorn horn.
Now, isn’t that a truly magical, curious creature? Now that you have invented it, you need to name it – and then the adventures can begin!
