Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by taking a black fineliner pen, and drawing a long oval shape in the top of your page. Add a long, thin triangle shape to the top of this.
2.

Shade in the space around the triangle with the black pen…
3.

And then add two dots above this for eyes. Add a sharp, angled line to the inside of each eye.
4.

Draw two small curves above the eyes…
5.

And then a curved triangle shape above this.
6.

Next, add two ears by drawing tall arrow shapes to the top of the head. Add a small triangle inside each…
7.

And fill in the space around the triangle with a black pen.
8.

Bring two curved lines down from the bottom of the nose, curving across to the right and left of the page.
9.

Add a curved line to the bottom of this, and then draw two sharp, pointed teeth.
10.

Fill in the space between the teeth with the black pen…
11.

And add a series of dots on either side of this line.
12.

Now, add two short, curved lines to the bottom right of the mouth…
13.

And add curved lines to the bottom of the face. At the bottom, add two diagonal lines, angling inwards, and connect these with a straight line at the bottom. Add another “section” just below this, with a small circle in the bottom right.
14.

Fill this section in with a black pen to create a collar…
15.

And then add a tied bow shape below this.
16.

Bring up two sets of curved, parallel lines, one on other side, and end these with a bump at the end. Add small marks inside this for paws.
17.

Now, bring down two curved lines, one on either side, waving in slightly at the bottom, to create the body of your dog.
18.

Add two paws to the bottom, and join these in the center with a curved line.
19.

Now, use two curved lines to bring a tail across to the left, and add a short line to create the tip of this.
20.

Next, add curved lines below each arm, and then curved lines down the sides towards the bottom of the page. Join these to the body with a bumpy line at the bottom to create an impressive cape.
21.

Add a second line just inside the outline of your cape…
22.

And then add two triangles to either side of the face for a vampire collar.
23.

Use a black pen to add a series of short, vertical marks all down the outside of the body and face of your vampire dog, as well as the tip of the tail.
24.

Use a red pen for the cape and collar…
25.

And shade the main part of the body and the tip of the tail with an orange pen.
26.

Grab a black pen for the edges of the cape and the bottom of the tail.
27.

Finally, use a black pen to add a series of curved lines all down the length of the cape.
Now, that is a super scary vampire dog – but don’t worry, he’s friendly! At least, we think he is…
