Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Use a blue pen to add a curved line across the page, and add a flick down at the end.
At the bottom of the flick, take the line up at a diagonal, and then up to the top right-hand corner of the page.
Add a wavy “flame” shape to the right, angled at around 90 degrees.
Add a similar shape above this for the tail of your whale.
Next, return to the left of the line, and bring a wavy line across from this, heading to the right.
Add a large curved line to the right of the bottom section.
Take this to a point, and then across to the top left-hand corner of the page, adding curves as you go.
Continue this fin up to the top, and then connect this to the tail at the back with a wavy line.
Add a small circle just in front of the fin.
Add a series of ovals and circles to the top of the back…
Use a darker blue pen to shade the rest of the body, leaving a small oval white.
Use a black pen to add a small black dot to the eye…
And then use a light blue pen to connect the tail to the fin with a curve, and bring two curved forward from the front of the fin and up. Add a blue circle to the top of this.
Shade this section with the blue pen…
And then use a dark blue pen to add curved lines across the belly.
Use the light blue pen to bring small circles up from the front of the whale…
And follow this with small fish and stars all around the animal. Add small fish with a green pen, and then stars and fish with an orange pen.
Add small dots to the face of the fish with a black pen for the eyes.
And there we have it – the largest creature on Earth, living his best life – all that he needs now is a name!
