Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a “teardrop” shape on its side, in the left of your page.
2.

Bring a line across from the left of this, heading towards the left, and then take this down at a 45-degree angle towards the right. Add a slightly jagged section to the end of this.
3.

From the end, take the line across with a sharp point, and then continue a slightly bumpy line heading up towards the top right corner of the page, before taking this down towards the bottom of the page.
4.

Add another curved shape just behind the original teardrop to form the ears and the outline of the face.
5.

Next, bring a curved line down from the right of the original ear, taking this down, across, and then down towards the bottom of the page.
6.

Add a bumpy line to the end of this, heading down towards the bottom of the page…
7.

Take this line across to the right, and then angle it up towards the top of the page to form the back leg.
8.

At the top of the leg, take a curved line across to the left, and “hook” this up at the end.
9.

Bring a slightly jagged line down from the bottom of the face…
10.

And then join these two lines with a leg at the front.
11.

Add another front leg just in front of this one…
12.

And then a fourth leg to the back, just in front of the one you have already drawn.
13.

Add two curved lines to the bottom of each paw to create toes.
14.

Now, add a pointed, curved tail to the top of the back…
15.

And add a circle just in front of the ear for the eye, with a small circle inside this.
16.

Draw an angled shape to the right of the eye.
17.

Now, add a curved line to the tip of the nose, and add a bumpy line just behind this.
18.

Add another line to the top of the neck…
19.

And then add wavy patches to the top of the back.
20.

Draw a tip at the top of the tail.
21.

Now, use a black pen for the tip of the nose.
22.

Grab a brown pen, and shade the top patch on the back, the end of the nose, and the ears, as well as the eyebrows.
23.

Use a lighter brown pen for the second patch, the tip of the tail, and the rest of the face.
24.

Grab a brown pencil and shade the rest of the body.
And voila – your very own super cute pooch is ready and waiting for some love and attention – all he needs now is a name!
