Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by using a pencil and a drawing compass to add a large circle to the center of your page.
2.

Add a second, smaller circle in the top right of this main one…
3.

And then add a crescent moon shape to the bottom of the smaller circle. Next, add a series of smaller circles inside this.
4.

Add two almond shapes to the bottom left quarter of the main circle…
5.

And enclose these in a wide horseshoe shape.
6.

At the bottom of the horseshoe, add a large “u” shape…
7.

Add a small half circle to the bottom of the “u” – do you see the eyes and nose of your wolf starting to take shape?
8.

Add two pointed triangles to the top of the head for ears, and then add smaller triangles inside each of these.
9.

Now, add a large, vertical “almond” shape behind the face of your wolf…
10.

And use a ruler to connect the bottom of this to the bottom of the circle with two sets of parallel lines.
11.

Add two small bumps to the bottom of these, creating the front legs and paws of your wolf…
12.

And connect the two paws with a curved line. Then, add the back haunches by adding a large, curved “m” shape behind the legs, reaching down to small bumps at the bottoms.
13.

Add a large, bushy tail behind the haunches, and then add a short line to give this a white tip.
14.

Take an eraser, and remove the places where the circle overlaps with the legs and bottom section of the wolf…
15.

And then redraw these lines neatly and cleanly.
16.

Grab a black marker pen, and outline the main circle, the smaller inner circle, and the main outline of your wolf. Fill in the space between the bottom of the tail and the bottom of the circle with the black pen.
17.

Now, fill in the rest of the circle with the black pen…
18.

And use the shade for the eyes and nose of your wolf.
19.

Grab a gray pen, and fill in the haunches, inner ears, and ruff of the wolf. Use the same shade for the small spots in the moon and the bottom curve.
20.

Fill in the gaps between the paws with a black pen…
21.

And then use a purple pen for the front legs and the tail.
22.

Add a gray tip to the tail with a gray pen.
23.

Now, use a black pen to outline the features of your wolf, and the spots on the moon.
24.

Add a few small whiskers emerging from the bottom of the face.
And just like that, you have created a spooky, mysterious scene – who knows what will happen next?
