Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin with a black pen, and draw a short, slightly curved line across the page. Add a curved shape below this, and shade the right triangle with the black pen. Then, add a short curved line to the top.
2.

Bring a curved line up, across, and down towards the bottom of the page. Take the line across to the right, and then up, angling it slightly.
3.

Add a wavy, vertical line to the right of this…
4.

And then take this across to the right with a jagged line, ending in a “fork”.
5.

Bring a curved line down from the right of the original shape – this is the beak – and add another tall “loop” to the end for the second wing.
6.

Add another vertical, wavy line to connect this to the bottom section…
7.

And then add a large, slightly square “W” shape to the bottom, complete with three claws.
8.

Now, add two short, vertical lines to the right of this, and connect them, with a jagged line at the bottom.
9.

Add another leg and foot to the right of this.
10.

Add a small, almond-shaped eye behind the beak, and add a small dot inside this. Draw a shape all around this eye.
11.

Add a line down the side of the left-wing…
12.

And then add a wavy line across the bottom of the head, before adding a wavy shape to the bottom of this.
13.

Now, draw a curved line at the bottom of the body, with a wavy line above this…
14.

And use a light green pencil to add color to the bottom of the left-wing.
15.

Now, add another set of lines inside the right-wing.
16.

Add the green shade to this, and then use the same shade to the top of the head and the tail at the bottom.
17.

Use a black pen to add color to the rest of the wings, and the tail at the bottom…
18.

Add the green to the bottom of the head.
19.

Next, use the black pen to fill in the rest of the head.
20.

Use a red pen for the beak…
21.

Use an orange pencil to add a faint stripe to the center of the stomach, and each of the legs.
22.

Color the section above the right-wing with the light green pencil and black pen.
23.

And then use the black pen to add marks to the feet.
24.

Shade the feet with a purple pen to complete your penguin.
And there we have it – your own super cute yellow-eyed penguin, complete with bright, distinctive colors and shades.
