Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a black pen, and draw a curved, pointed shape in the bottom-left section of the page.
2.

Add a line to the right of this…
3.

And then curve this across and down to meet the front.
4.

Add a curved line from the bottom right to the line above, adding another line just inside this – this will form the beak for your eagle.
5.

Add a small, curved point to the top of this, and then draw a small circle inside this.
6.

Bring a curved line up from the top of the beak, and wave this across to the right…
7.

And then take this to a point. Bring more points down, and across to meet the side of the beak.
8.

Bring a curved line across from the top point, towards the top right corner of the page.
9.

Add another curved line to the top left, curving this towards the top left corner of the page…
10.

And then bring two curved lines down from the bottom of the right line, making these bumpy.
11.

Now, add a vertical row of feathers to the right…
12.

And bring a curved line down at the bottom, taking a row of feathers to the left.
13.

Add a bumpy line to the left of this…
14.

And take the left side up, before adding a wavy line to the left.
15.

At the end of this line, take the line up to the bottom of the face.
16.

Add rows of bumpy lines across these two sections for feathers…
17.

And add a “V” shape to the bottom, with a curved line at the top.
18.

Add three pointed toes to the top of this, and then add claws to the top.
19.

Add another foot to the left.
20.

Now, add a bumpy, diagonal line from the bottom of the left curved line…
21.

And add a vertical row of wings to the left side.
22.

Make the curved, parallel lines at the bottom a little thicker.
23.

Now, draw small marks across the face.
24.

Use a brown pencil to fill in the main body and the inside of the wings.
25.

Now, use an orange pen for the feet and beak…
26.

And use a red pen for the inside of the beak.
27.

Grab a light orange pencil, and shade the outer layers of wings.
28.

Finally, use a gray pen for the remaining feathers and the bottom of the neck.
And voila – your own stunning eagle, ready to take on the world and enjoy a host of adventures – but first, he needs to be named!
