There is something wonderfully nostalgic about a vintage phone – and they also look great perched on a sideboard! Want to create your very own? Then read on to learn the steps you need.

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Grab a drawing compass and pencil and draw two circles at the bottom of your page.
2.
Add another “C” shape in between these two circles.
3.
Now, add a series of small circles all across the shape of the “C”.

Use a ruler to draw a vertical line through the center of the circle, and then add a short horizontal line across the top. Bring two short, vertical lines down at the sides, curve these down, and then add straight lines at the bottom. Join these at the bottom with a horizontal line.

Add two small rectangles to the top of the shape.

Use the ruler to draw a diagonal line above this.
7.
Use a drawing compass to add a circle to either end of the line, and then connect these with a curved line at the top.

Add a small crescent moon shape inside each circle…

And then add another curved line below the top one.
10.
Add another rectangle to the bottom of the phone, and curve off the corners of this section, and the one above it.
11.
Add two small recyangles to the bottom of the phone….
12.
And then add a curved cone shape to the right of the “C”.
13.
Add a series of long, thin points to the left of the top of the phone.
14.
Go over the outlines with a black pen.
15.
Use an eraser to remove any outstanding pencil lines.

Use a light grap pen for the ends of the top of the phone, and the main section of the dial.
17.
Shade the triangle on the dial with a dark gray pen…
18.
And then lightly shade the buttons on the dial with a gray pencil.
19.
Grab a red pen, and color the main section of the phone.
20.
Shade the bottom of the phone with dark red pen.
21.
Grab a yellow pen for the points on the left…
22.
And then fill in the center of the dial and the feet with a black pen.
And there we have it – your very own vintage phone; and it looks as though you are getting a call!
