Fill in this central circle with a few smaller shapes – start with two oval shapes, connected at the bottom, and a small, “c” like shape in the middle of these and just below. Then, add a soft “E” shape just below these – can you see the outline of the face starting to emerge before your eyes?

Next, let’s add an arm to your orange –move to the right hand side of the orange, and draw two parallel lines, joined in a pointed tip at the right hand end, and expanding into a hand shape on the left hand side. Make sure that you pop the thumb up in a cheerful “thumbs up” gesture!

Return to the softer “E” you drew earlier – this is the mouth of your orange. From this shape, draw two parallel lines emerging from the mouth, and heading up at a 45 degree angle. At the end of these lines, add two “bumps” on either side, so that you end up almost with two “3” shapes facing one another. After these, take another 45 degree angle to the left and down, and continue the parallel lines down to join with a short line. This is the straw your orange-creature is using to enjoy their beverage!
