Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by using an orange pen to add a series of curved lines to form one longer, the bumpy line at the top of your page.
2.

Bring a curved line down on the sides, and bring these to the middle, leaving a small gap.
3.

Bring curved lines up at the side to meet the top, and then add curved lines at the sides to create four shapes.
4.

Close off the shapes in the center at the bottom…
5.

And then fill all the shapes in with the orange pen.
6.

Use a pale orange pen to add a layer to the top of this.
7.

Use an orange pen to add three curves inside this section.
8.

Grab a blue pen, and add a line to the bottom of the umbrella…
9.

And then curve the bottom of this line across to the left, and up.
10.

Add a line to the top left of this using a ruler, connecting it to the bottom of the umbrella. Reflect this on the right with the blue pen.
And there we have it – an upside-down umbrella, and a common scene for all of us. Does anybody else recognize the frustration in this situation?
