Cows are one of the most useful creatures in our society and provide us with many of the delicious treats that we enjoy. To help celebrate them, we will create your very own cow, complete with udders to produce that all-important, delicious milk – let’s get started!

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Begin your drawing with a black pen, and draw a diagonal, bumpy line in the right side of your page. Add a longer line to the bottom end.
2.

At the end of this line, add a “teardrop” shape, with a small square inside.
3.

Bring a wavy line across to the left from the bottom of this.
4.

Now, add two angled, sharp horns to the top shape, either side of the main “bump” in the center.
5.

Add a curved line to the left of the left horn, and then add a pointed, triangular ear.
6.

Take a wavy line across to the left, and then down towards the bottom of the page.
7.

Add another line just inside this, and connect the two at the bottom with wavy lines to form the tail.
8.

Bring the inside line of the tail up, and then take it back down in a wavy line. Add a slight “point” roughly equal with the bottom of the tail, and then a sharp point at the bottom before taking the line across to the right.
9.

Add a hoof to the end of this line, and then bring the right line up and across.
10.

Take the line to the right to form the belly, and then down to form the back of another leg…
11.

Take this line across and up for a leg, and then add a hoof to the bottom.
12.

At the top of this front leg, take a line across to the right, and then up to join the bottom of the face.
13.

Add a second leg just in front of the one you have just created…
14.

And now draw a curved udder just in front of the back leg, with rounded teats at the bottom.
15.

Draw the fourth leg just below this udder.
16.

Now, add an almond-shaped eye to the face. Add a short line below the top, and then a small circle in the center.
17.

Add a series of large patches to the coat of your cow…
18.

And shade these in with a black pen.
19.

Now, use a pink pen for the udder and the nose.
And voila – a super cute and smart cow, just waiting for a home – and an adventure! First, however, he needs a name: but what will it be?
