Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start by using a gray pencil to draw a star at the very top of your page.
2.

Bring two curved lines down from the star at the top, and connect these with a bumpy line at the bottom for the top tier of the Christmas tree.
3.

Add another set of bumps below this…
4.

And then bring down two curved lines from this, connecting them with two sets of bumpy lines at the bottom.
5.

Repeat this with a wider third-tier…
6.

And then again with a wider still fourth tier.
7.

Now, use the pencil and a ruler to draw two squares at the bottom of the tree.
8.

Take an eraser, and remove the lines interrupting the squares at the bottom.
9.

Redraw the lines using the pencil.
10.

Join these with two horizontal lines at the top and bottom.
11.

Use the eraser to remove the lines on the inside…
12.

And then redraw these with the pencil.
13.

Next, add horizontal lines across the top of these squares.
14.

Add vertical lines to the left and the central square…
15.

And then a series of small circles to the one on the right.
16.

Add small bows to the top of the left-hand presents…
17.

And use the eraser to remove any lines that are interrupting these bows.
18.

Then, redraw the bows with clean lines.
19.

Now, add a small tail to the bottom of the bow on the left…
20.

And another small tail just to the left of the central bow.
21.

Add another showy bow to the present on the right…
22.

And use your eraser to remove the interrupting lines from the tree.
23.

Redraw the lines cleanly and neatly…
24.

And then add a series of small circles all across the body of the tree.
25.

Now, add garlands to your tree with a series of parallel, curved lines heading in diagonal directions…
26.

And use the eraser to remove any interrupting marks.
27.

Redraw the erased sections for sharp lines…
28.

And then go over all of your lines with a black fineliner pen.
29.

Erase all the pencil marks.
30.

Grab a yellow pen, and fill in the spots and bow on the right present, the ribbon and bow on the central gift, and the garlands and stars on the tree.
31.

Grab a green pen, and use this for the main body of the tree…
32.

And then use a dark green pen for the under-layers.
33.

Grab a pink pen for the central present in the pile.
34.

Now, use a red pen for the right-hand present, the ribbon on the left present, and a few of the small balls on the tree.
35.

Use a bright blue for the left present and the remaining balls to complete your design.
And there we have it – a perfect tree complete with plenty of gifts to enjoy. I hope everyone is feeling festive!
