The Earth is our home, and it is important that we all do our part to take care of it. In just a few steps, we will do our part to celebrate our wonderful planet – let’s get started.

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Grab a pencil and a drawing compass, and add a large circle to the center of your page.
2.
Add a curved line to the top of this with the compass and pencil…
3.
And then add two curves to the bottom.
4.
Add a curve to the top of each of these.
5.
Bring each of these lines down to the bottom of the page.
6.
Now, grab a ruler, and use a pencil to add two lines on the outside of the central lines.
7.
Add a diagonal line to the top of each of these, and then add a straight line to the top to connect it to the lines on the left.

Add an angled, curved loop inside each of these shapes for the thumb…
9.
And then use a black pen to go over the original circle.
10.
Now, use the black pen to add the outlines of continents to the center of the circle.

Add more continents to the bottom of the circle…
12.
And then use the black pen to go over the hands at the bottom.
13.
Use the black pen to write “HAPPY EARTH DAY” on the curved line at the top…
14.
And use an eraser to remove any remaining pencil marks.
15.
Grab a light green pen, and shade the land on the Earth.
16.
Now, use a dark green for the remaining space…
17.
And an orange pen for the hands.
18.
Use a darker orange for the nails on the thumbs.
