Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Start with a brown pen, and draw a line that is larger at the bottom, and narrows to a point as it ascends the page. Around halfway up the page, take the line across to the top right-hand corner of the page.
2.

Add another line on the other side of this, pointing towards the top left-hand corner of the page, and follow this with two more lines above these. Add another short line to the left of the top right fork.
3.

Next, add a series of smaller lines branching off from these longer ones…
4.

And follow this with a series of other, smaller twigs.
5.

Use a black pen to add a series of small leaves to the tops and bottoms of each branch.
6.

Now, add a few leaves falling from the branches…
7.

And grab a yellow pen to shade one of these falling leaves. Use the same shade on a few of the leaves on the tree.
8.

Grab an orange pen, and shade another falling leaf, as well as a few more on the tree…
9.

And then use a darker orange pen for the third falling leaf and the remainder of those on the tree.
10.

Then, use the yellow pen to add a series of small dots and shapes between the leaves and around the trees.
11.

Follow this with two small orange dots and shapes in between these…
12.

And use the third orange pen to repeat this.
13.

Grab a gray pen to add a flat oval shape to the bottom of the trunk.
14.

Finally, use the black pen to add details to the leaves.
And there we have it – a stunning autumnal scene that is the perfect balm for the senses. There is nothing more healing than nature.
