Santa had plenty of activities to keep him busy over the festive period – and one of the most important is heading down the chimney!

Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Start with a black pen, and draw a curved shape in the center of your page. Add a small circle to the top left of this.
2.
Connect this circle to the shape below with two curved lines to create the hat.
3.
Bring two curved lines down from the bottom of the hat, and join these at the bottom with a wavy line.
4.
Add a small oval shape above the “bump” at the bottom.
5.
Bring two curved shapes out from either side of the oval shape for a mustache, and add a half-circle shape to the bottom of this.

Add two small circles above this for the eyes…

And then add a small ring inside each of the circles.

Add curved brows above the eyes…
9.
And bring out two curved points on either side and then bring these down and add three points at the bottom for the beard.

Add a small circle to the bottom, one on either side of the beard. Then add a large “teardrop” shape to each of these – these will be the hands.

Add a curved line to the top of each of these to connect them to the sides of the beard.
12.
Add a long, thin rectangle to the bottom of these shapes…

And add a square to the bottom of this.
14.
Add a series of horizontal lines across the square shape…
15.
And then add vertical lines down these sections to create bricks.

Now, add stars all around the top of the chimney and around Santa.

Add a crescent moon to the top left…
18.
Grab a thicker black pen and a ruler, and draw a box around the drawing. Add a line across the bottom, on either side of the chimney.
19.
Now, add a wavy line across this bottom section.
20.
Use a red pen for the bottom section, the chimney, the coat, and the hat, as well as the mouth.
21.
Use an orange pen for the stars and the moon…
22.
Use a blue pen for the top section, creating a deep, colorful sky…

And use an orange pencil for the face.
Quick – hide under the covers and get to sleep; Santa is on his way with gifts to deliver!
