Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.

Grab a black fineliner pen, and draw a curved shape in the center of your page, like a crescent moon shape on its side. Add an oval shape to the bottom left of this.
2.

Connect the oval to the curved shape with a curved line at the bottom, and then add a curved line to the top, taking this across and down to the right of the shape. This will be Santa’s hat!
3.

Add a half-circle shape below this hat…
4.

And then add a curved mustache below this.
5.

Add a small triangle shape to the bottom of the mustache.
6.

Now, connect the ends of the mustache to the bottom of the hat with curved lines at the sides.
7.

Add two small “bumps” on either side of the mustache…
8.

And then add two curved brows above the nose.
9.

Add a circle beneath each bow, and add a small dot to the center for the eyes.
10.

Now, add a wavy line to the bottom of the mustache, joining this at the bottom with a point for the beard.
11.

Bring a curved line across to the left, and then down…
12.

And then take a line across to the right, up, and then angled up towards the top right-hand corner. Add a curve to the bottom of this for a hand, adding a thumb to the right.
13.

Add a curved line just above the wrist…
14.

And then bring a curved line down on the right.
15.

Add a curved line to the left of this…
16.

Add another hand to the end of this, connecting the two lines.
17.

Add a curved line above the wrist…
18.

And then bring a curved line down from each arm, add a square-shaped “bump”, and then take the lines down and connect them at the bottom.
19.

Add a stripe to the bottom of this…
20.

And add two rectangles, one inside the other, in the center of this.
21.

Add lines on either side of the belt buckle…
22.

And then two circles for buttons above the belt buckle.
23.

Add a slightly thicker line to the bottom of the mustache…
24.

And then bring a diagonal line down from the bottom of the belt buckle on each side, before curving this in at the bottom.
25.

Add a large, square “n” shape in the center of this…
26.

And then add square shapes to the bottom of each side for the legs and top of the feet.
27.

Now, add a foot to either side, reaching out to the left and the right.
28.

Add a large, curved, triangle shape to the top of each side – this will be the back of the chair.
29.

Add a line on either side of the hands, and then take this down on both sides, across and back up for the legs of the chair…
30.

Add a line to the top of each leg to cut the corners off, and then add a curved line between Santa’s legs.
31.

Add a straight line connecting the bottom of the legs, and then add two lines just below the curve at the top.
32.

Use a red pen to shade most of Santa’s outfit and hat, and then add a small dot to each cheek.
33.

Use a pink pen for the nose…
34.

And then use a black pen for the shoes and belt…
35.

Use an orange or light brown pen for the chair and the belt buckle…
36.

And then use a light peach pencil for the face.
And there we have it – a jolly Santa, just waiting to hand out gifts. Make sure that you are on the nice list!
