Start with an orange pen, and draw a square-shaped line in the center of your page, with the top and bottom lines slightly wavy. Add “tufts” to the top, and then bring a curved line across the center.
Shade the sections at the top and bottom with the orange…
And add two lines to the top of the white section.
Use a black pen to add curved lines below these, and then a curved line in the bottom section, creating the face of your guitar player.
Use a brown pen to bring lines out on the sides…
And then use a light orange pen to add small shapes around these for ears.
Use the same shade to add a neck to the bottom of the face…
And then use a blue pen to create the outline of the t-shirt, with the bottom angled up in a curved line.
Fill in the t-shirt with the blue pen…
And then use the light orange pen to add a small rectangle to the right arm.
Use the light orange pen to add an arrow shape, ending in a bump, to the left arm.
Now, use a red pen to draw the outline of a guitar, leaving a gap for the neck…
And bring two lines down inside this gap. Add a rectangle shape to the bottom of this, and shade the bottom half of the guitar, leaving a few lines in the center for strings.
Add color to the top half of the guitar…
And then use a black pen for the rectangle at the bottom of the strings.
Use the black pen and ruler to add strings all up the neck of the guitar, leaving a gap at the bottom.
Use the light orange pen to add a hand to this gap…
And then use a red pen to draw the curved shape at the top of the guitar neck.
Add three small circles just below the top line…
And then fill in the rest of this section with the red pen.
Use a gray pen to add the circles to the top of this, and then extend the lines of the neck upwards into the red section.
Shade the section at the bottom of the neck with a gray pen…
And then use a bright blue pen to add two long, thin shapes at the bottom of the body for the legs.
Use a black pen to add curved shoes to the end of this, with white stripes for the laces, and at the end of the toes.

Then, use the gray pen to fill in the oval.
