Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
1.
Start with a black pen, and draw a circle in the center of your page.
2.
Add a large ”wedge” shape just inside this, towards the right.
3.
Use a black fineliner to draw another of these shapes inside the first one.
4.
Repeat this with another, smaller shape…
5.
And then again, this time making the shape even smaller.
6.
Add lines emerging from each point of the innermost triangle, heading out to the edge.
7.
Next, add a wavy shape to the left of these triangles.
8.
Add smaller shapes to the top and bottom.
9.
Next, add a triangle with jagged lines below the main shape.

Fill this in with a green pen…

And use a blue pen for the rest of the surface.

Use a red pen for the outer triangle…

Followed by an orange pen for the next layer.
14.
Use a yellow for the next section.
15.
Grab a black fineliner and a ruler, and add a series of lines around the edges.
16.
Label the parts from top to bottom: ”Crust”, “Upper mantle”, ”Lower mantle”, ”Outer core”, ”Inner core”.
