According to experts, many swans decide to mate for life – a super romantic concept that has led to these gorgeous birds being held up as symbols of love and romance around the world. Looking to enjoy a little love, or share your appreciation for a significant other? Then we have the recipe for romance…
Step-By-Step Images and Instructions
Start with a thick black pen, and draw an arrow shape in the center of your page, close to the top. From the top of this, bring a curved line up, across to the right, and then down towards the bottom right-hand corner of your page. Flick this out ever so slightly at the bottom.
Return to the arrow, and add a “bump” to the bottom line. Then, bring a line out that is parallel to the one above it.
Return to the top line, and take it across to the right, creating a point. Add a bumpy vertical line below for the wing, and then bring the line back in and across to the left.
Now, continue the bottom line down, across to the right, and add three curved “points” for the tail. Connect this to the wing above.
Add a curved line from the top of the wing to the neck.
Now, close off the “mouth” of the original arrow to create a beak, and add a dot just behind this.
Add another beak to the left of the first, and draw a small dot behind this.
Now, bring a curved line up, across to the left, and then down towards the bottom left-hand corner of the page. Repeat this on the bottom, making sure that the line touches the chest of the other swan.
Continue this line down and across to the left…
And then take the top line across to create a wing on the second swan.
Take the bottom line up to three points for the tail…
And then connect the top of the second swan’s wing to the neck with a curved line.
Grab a red pen, and draw a heart in the space between the two swan’s necks.
Use the red pen to shade the beaks…
And then use a gray pen to color the bottom and tail of the first swan, as well as the section above the wing, the inside of the neck, and details on the wing.
Repeat this shading with the gray pen on the body and head of the second swan.
Now, is there a greater sight to see than love? This is ideal for getting you into a romantic mood and doing something special with the person who lights up your world.
